I created this concept for the Phoenix chapter of Hasher Not Trashers annual (Anal) Rim Job campout.
The idea was a play on the standardized trail signs posted around national parks to keep hikers on path and indicate what lies ahead. There would be the two featured patches that you get the first time you attend and then add yearly “placards” for each subsequent campout that you made. Essentially building your hiking post.
The concept was eventually scrapped for another design that was easier to produce, but as we all know in the Hash it’s hard to shake a good bad idea so we eventually made stickers of just the symbol. A dedicated few have determined that the Anal Rim Job message should be spread far and wide and have made a point to slap them up wherever they go.
